Default Parallel with tic for minor chainages for alignment

    Hi all,
I need to make alignment labels for minor chainages that are similar to the major chainages. Namley the parallel with tic mark style. AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 will not allow me to change the style for minor chainages at all. I tried dragging the style I want from the Major Chainage group but the program will not allow it. The allowable choices are Standard and tic, but nothing else. Any ideas?

    As always thanks.

Civil 3d considers alignment labels for major and minor increments as different label style families. You will need to make a minor increment label style that is similar to the major. You can refer to the settings of the major label as the two are constructed exactly the same way.

You can start with the current Tic style and add to it, or make a new style that only has the new components you want to add and apply both of them to the minor increments, or make your own from scratch.
