Is there a way to add yes/no parameter to walls?

basically I'd like to change V/G based on the extents of my wall relative to my plan/cut plane and having the V/G only apply if I click yes or no

You can add a project parameter and assign it to the wall object category. The only caveat here is that the yes/no condition is an all or nothing proposition. Once assigned it is assigned to that wall in all views so the value, with regard to visibility and graphics, might be limited.
Do you need to display the wall differently in multiple views or would the graphics modifications apply in all views?
Have you looked at filters as a way to better control this?
By 'extents' of the wall are you referring to height relative to the cut plane? Is that height a range or specific?

I think I figured it out shortly after I posted this. I basically did what you suggested, using filters as well as worksets based on level/floor and separating walls by worksets....then, using a view template for each floor (not many floors) I was able to better control which walls showed up and how they showed per level.

    Thank you Dimitri!
