    It's not a drawing-specific issue. Any drawing, even a blank, brand-new one has the same issue. But, here's one you can play with.

    Don't know what the problem is. I was able to change anything and everything on the display tab.

    see attached images.

    i changed the layers, the colors and some line types without any problem.

    the pictures don't coincide, i changed some things and took a snapshot and forgot to the leave the dialogue box open.
    went back and just made some random changes on the display tab (not the same ones obviously).

    Then, it's got to be something specific to my machine, or my installation of Civil 3D. I'm still waiting for the folks at Imaginit to get back to me on this. What would cause this to be locked from editing? I have admin rights on my machine. This is so frustrating!

    Might want to try try a Repair from Control Panel
