Default Trying to figure out how this family was configured

It's a basic volume damper family with a Generic Annotation nested. The Generic Annotation remains visible on floor plan when the damper is rotated in section so the connectors are vertical. Would appreciate any ideas on how this was done, having success modifying other duct accessory families. The annotation would always disappear once it is rotated.
