(getvar "snapang")
Thanks Chris,
But this command does not tell you what (in my case) someone else has set the snap angle to. I just want to find out what it currently is set to. This way if I change it I can go back to the original setting if required. Is there a technique to see this value?
perhaps I do not understand what you are tyring to get. if you type in SNAPANG at the command line and hit enter, in the value that is displayed before you type it shows what the current snapang is. if you type in (getvar "snapang") it returns the vale in radians. so you would need to multipy by 180 and divide by PI to get your degrees. its just easier to type in SNAPANG and then hit escape if you dont want to change it.
