Did you try what Tom suggested within his post? it will resolve your issue while the image is turned on/thawed. not sure why, but it seems to nail me everyonce in a while that setting I think ships that way in C3D

Sorry Robert, I should have quoted Bedardo with my question to his response. I'm glad you wee able to get it all sorted out.

I had the same issue but realized that the Shift +Left Click Select picks any images within that area. Only when I froze the image layer did the de-select finally work.

Just to clarify my first post #3 was the one ccowgill was referring to.

Standard behavior. The default is shift+pick to select an image when one is present. You can change the setting in a couple places MapIoptions and MapOptions.
