    Default windows 10 plotting

I have AutoCAD civil 3d, and adobe pro, but when I go to plot a PDF, the PDF opens in internet explorer and I don't understand why. I've made adobe my default PDF viewer and disabled all of the internet explorer add-ons. My company is slowly making the switch to windows 10 and I think that it's causing this problem but I'm not sure.

What version of Civil 3D are you using? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

If you are on Windows 10, it's probably hijacking your "default" PDF application.

Are you sure it isn't Edge that is opening, not IE?

In File Explorer, right click a .PDF file, select Properties menu item, on General tab to the right of 'Open with:' click the Change button, select Adobe Acrobat (or your preferred PDF application), click OK button, then click the OK button on the file properties dialog.

If your firm is standardized on using Acrobat (or other) for PDFs, your IT Admin can also set the default PDF file association using Group Policy (GPO): http://theitbros.com/set-default-fil...-group-policy/
