    Default Non-responsive section view range

I inherited a pretty mismanaged model and have been trying to get it in working order, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on with the sections.

The sections simply refuse to render anything beyond the cut plane.
No matter how much I play with the far clipping and offset, detail level and scale, apply different view templates, I can't get anything beyond to show up.
What really surprises me is that even families that intersect the cut plane do not render the rest of themselves. It's like the view depth is set to 1mm.
All new sections have the same issue, but the elevations are all working as expected.
Lastly, the model was basically set up as a CAD drawing when I got it. Not sure if that helps narrow things down, but worth a mention.

Am I fundamentally misunderstanding something about far clip offset and view depth?
If anyone has experienced a similar issue, I would be very grateful to hear from you.

    Cheers!

    Hi, welcome to AUGI!

Quick question. Is it possible that the Section View itself is associated to a very narrow Scope Box?
