Default Civil objects created in a later version!?

Have a drawing created in Civil 3D 2016
Later it was opened and it said the Civil objects were created in a earlier version ... proxy objects etc. etc.

I opened the file in Civil 3D 2018, it gave me the SAME later version error

Unless 2019 is out and no one told me, this is a problem

Civil 3D 2015 would be an example of an earlier version. You shouldn't have any trouble opening an earlier version. If you add template drawings from previous versions make sure you open and save them so new drawings created with them will start out as the current version.

If you really believe it's a 2019 drawing post a link to it, we'd all like to see it!

I recently encountered the same problem. Obviously a bug. Please report to Autodesk.
