    Default Writing 3dsolids to dwg

Hi all! Is anyone have a solution to me?
My problem is that i want to create a separate dwg for each 3dsolid include in an 3dassemby.

The goal is to use a script to create a page setup for each 3dsolid in separate dwg.

Question Re: Writing 3dsolids to dwg

Could you elaborate a little more? I'm not sure if you are just trying to create an AutoCad drawing or if the assembly is also coming from AutoCAD.

    • Where are the 3D models coming from, AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, a file off of your C drive?
    • What file format are they, native CAD file format of the system used to create the assembly, iges, stl, etc.?
    • Are they all the same format and coming from the same place for each new drawing?
    • Do you have an idea of what your drawing view layout would be, and are those consistent for each new drawing?
    • Are you using only Model Space or Paper Space as well?
