I've seen where you can create manual split profiles by copying the profile as many times as needed and then adjusting each one's station range to what is required.

However, it seems when you do that, it creates multiple copies of the profile in all of the profiles. I don't know if this is a profile except that if you have to make any changes,
you'd have to change all of them in each profile.

has anyone else experienced this? or is there something i am doing wrong?

I know there is split profile view option to handle this, but the manual copying method seems so simple.

There's only one profile, regardless of the number of profile views is shows up in. Delete it in one PV, and it's gone from all of the, similarly, update in one, and all of them reflect it.

Not multiple copies, rather multiple instantiations.

When you copy the profile view, make sure you're only selecting the profile view to copy and nothing else. (don't window the selection)

Yea, that copies the profile view and any profiles in the window selection. I've done it before, learned that lesson.
