Default Is there a way to make a making region that only affects detail component not the model?

Wondering if there is a way to add a masking to a detail family that only affects the family not the view it is placed in?

    Thanks

A masking region that does not mask the model? No. But you could just draft the detail family and do not include the masking region for the same effect.
