    Default cutting void in footing

    i have a condition where i need to chamfer a corner of my footing. i need to have a void to cut the footing. does anyone have an idea on how to accomplish this?

    Could you post a quick snippet? In general, and I might be over-simplifying, it sounds like you need to edit a Footing Family as a new Family with a chamfer (which then would be a void edited in the geometry of the Family).

    Are you using the rectangular footing tool, matt footing tool (footing by sketch) or some other method?
    You can't do void in place models to cut isolated footings.
    you could add a void to the footing family and go that route.
