Default Sun study north of artic circle

I wonder if anyone else has trouble doing a sun study in Revit north of the artic circle?
When I try to look at sun and shadow in the period of the year with midnight sun present (from medio may to medio july) nothing seems right even at the middle of the day.
I just need some confirmation that this really is impossible in Revit and that I have to this manually as still photos if I need some results.

Okay, I'm stumped. I honestly tried to replicate your problem, but I can't seem to quite get there. Could you post a screen snippet of your settings maybe?

Cool Re: Sun study north of artic circle

Here is an illustration of the problem.
At mid-day (12:00) the sun will be more or less straight south, so the shadows wil be to the north. In my head this will also be the case in the middle of the summer even if you have midnight sun at night.
I have made 2 illustrations of this situation - one before midnight sun occures in the area (20 may) and one in the period with midnight sun at night (21 june). Both illustrations are made mid-day and should not be affected by the fact that you have midnight sun at night.
The illustration for 21. june shows that Revit calculates that the sun is more or less straight to the north at mid-day.
Maybe we should send the Autodesk Revit developers on a fieldtrip to northern Norway to explain
