Design Options Modifications

I have my electrical model set up and now the arch wants me to create the alternates. I've set the design options up and can add items but hos can I activate the archs model so I can delete and add walls. is this even possible

you can set visibility of the linked arch file, custom, and design options will be a tab, and turn on or off their design options in your views
if that's what you're trying to do

No.
It should never be your intention to delete anything from another consultants model....EVER.

You can add the wall where you believe it needs to be, then have the Architect model a wall in that place, then delete yours.
The architect will need to add that wall to the design option you need to see it in.
