hover information

didn't know what to call it, but this is the problem. two different workstations running the same version of civil 3d. one has the drawing open with several surfaces,
the other has the same drawing opened in read only. when you hover the crosshairs in the drawing on one machine it does not show any information about the surfaces, ie, name, elevation, etc.
but the other machine does.

was wondering if there is a setting or something causing the data not to appear or if it could be a hardware issue.
doesn't matter which machine has it open/in read only, that one machine will not display the data.

It should just be the regular tooltips that need to be turned on.

figured out the problem. in options-display-show rollover tool tips was not checked. once checked, solved the problem
