    Default Revit schedule calculations

I want to schedule the total weight of my project and the calculated weight is consistently off by a factor of ~2.2 and I don`t know why.

I am working in metric units and the volume and density is shown correctly (both in Meters) in the schedule below.

My calculated formula looks like this : (Density/1)*Volume.

However, when i multiply Volume x Density the total is incorrect. The number in red should be 3,780. Any idea why?

This appears to be in the wrong forum. This forum is specifically for AutoCAD C3D support, not Revit.

A mod will probably move your thread, but otherwise I think over here would be the place to ask these kinds of questions

    http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?38-AEC

There is a Revit forum section towards the bottom.

Edit: And I think people are going to need access to your drawing so you might want to get ahead of that and let people have access if you can. I have ZERO experience in the help you're requesting, but based on your formula you're saying you're using I don't see how you can get 8345 instead of 3780, I looked at it for a bit because I thought I could find an error in the order of operations, but it's a simple formula. Again, I have zero experience, but I don't know why the formula isn't just density x volume.

    I even googled the math

It boils down to the parameters and Type of Data selection you use, see attached image.

A factor of 2.2 sound suspiciously like and english to metric conversion
Here, let me Google that for you: http://bfy.tw/FL0H
Are you sure pounds didn't sneak in there somewhere?
