    Default Alignment Disappears from Viewports

I have a site drawing with an alignment, the alignment style places all features on a layer "C-ALGN-CTR", (In both the Model and Plan Tabs). The Properties for this Alignment show that it is on layer "C-ALGN-CTR". All this in the Model of the drawing. In some of my Layout Viewports the alignment does not appear although the layer in the model of the viewport shows it to be on and not frozen. In the Prospector I can select it and see the grips, but it remains invisible. I have also noticed the same thing happening with my pipe network. This drawing was originally started in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 Any thoughts?
