text mirroring

I have two drawings that mirror all of the text. can't find the setting to fix it.

What do you mean they "mirror all of the text"?

Do you mean when you create a new TEXT object, a second mirrored copy of it is created at the same time?
Or do you mean that any text you create is mirrored by default?
Or something else?

Can you attach the DWG file (or a stripped down version of it)?

Sounds like text (mtext?) is being "created" in reverse, MIRRTEXT only applies to text when you mirror it, weather to mirror it or not.

If I had to guess, I would think your UCS is not set correctly, like it got flipped somehow and so you're drawing in reverse.

Try setting it to World (WCS); command: UCS > World
And then try creating text.
