QUICK CALCULATOR

was wondering if anyone is experiencing a problem with the properties and quick calc function.

when an entity is highlighted, say line length. there's a little icon that you can select that normally brings up the quick calculator.

i am experiencing the software freezing up when i try to do this in c3d2017.

While there are a number of things like Line Length that cannot be modified in the Properties Palette I haven't had an issue with Quick Calc though I've often wondered why it was even available for properties that couldn't be modified.

it turns out the dialog box that is supposed to pop up is off screen somewhere. not sure how that happened or what caused it.
