Default PLUMBING FIXTURES GROUPS FOR ALL LEVELS OF MY HOTEL

We are working on a hotel project. We have created groups for each room type. We plan on on bringing in a MEP designer to do all the MEP design work. Is it best to host the plumbing fixtures in the architectural or let the designer host (have there own worksets)?

If i host. Do I have to place fixtures on all levels (Level 2 is a copy to lever 3-4) Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

As you say, it depends on how things are hosted. Ask the MEP people, they surely have a preferred way of doing things. It probably boils down to how much you trust the team to coordinate. If MEP are hosted by architecture-owned components then coordination and model discipline will have to be very good. If there is an architectural and an MEP version of the fitting (where MEP only moves theirs *after* architectural does) then coordination is easier i guess ...

Of course they could have their own model and monitor the 'hosting' geometry. Not ideal, but very clear silos.

Just my thoughts. I'm not an expert MEP user.
