Wall Non-Adjacent Extension Layers
Summary: It would be very helpful to accurately model a wall if we were allowed to have non-adjacent extension layers.
Description: Often in our work, we have a wall which has the structure (studs) extend to the deck or joists above. It would be very helpful if we could allow for the extension (unlocking of) wall layers that are non-adjacent for these situation. That way, the wall would work as expected, giving a height and then giving a negative offset for the unlocked layers (in my example, the gyp board).
I realize this is possible to achieve, modeling wise, in reverse (unlock the core - studs - and then give various heights and offsets to get the model correct); however, it works in reverse of what would generally be assumed.
