status bar

why are my coordinates in the status bar show 3.6555555+06, 7.27244e+06, 0.000000 instead of state plane coordinates.

i.e. 3,700,000, 750,000, 0.0000

if i ID a point on screen they are correct.

ive tried changing to relative, absolute, geographic, specific. nothing changes. even saved, exited and restarted.

It's simply displaying the coordinates in scientific notation when the string of characters won't fit in the allotted space

they display just fine at my work computer. same size status bar. if you right click on the coordinates, geographic and specific are highlighted. not sure how this is selected.

also, at home i changed insertion scale from unitless to feet and now they display correctly. not sure what is going on. i'v never had this happen before in almost 30 years of working with autocad

What if you set the precision to 0 or 1 decimal place?

this is how mine has always looked. got it back to this, but don't really know how.
