VIEW REFERENCE WITHIN TEXT
Summary: VIEW REFERENCE WITHIN TEXT
Description: IN AUTOCAD, ONE CAN ADD A FIELD TO AN OTHERWISE STATIC TEXT NOTE. IN REVIT, I'D LOVE TO REFER TO A DETAIL (SIMILAR TO USING A VIEW REFERENCE) WITHIN A TEXT NOTE. EXAMPLE: "SEE DETAIL (LOCATION IN SET CAN CHANGE AND SO THIS IS A VIEW REFERENCE) FOR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS".

Re: VIEW REFERENCE WITHIN TEXT
I realize this post is for the purpose of stating a wish for something directly in Revit. If you're interested in a solution you can use now consider Revolution Design's Workflow collection of tools which includes Autolink. It does what you're describing without using the View Reference, it just recognizes the format as such within text.
