Panning Addition
Summary: Addition to User Interface
Description: While panning, have the User Interface hide all panels, windows, etc., except, obviously, the main Window. This will allow the user to see the anticipated view without guessing. After panning, the previous view (with panels, windows) is restored.

Re: Panning Addition
Then the view would change when you start panning and change again when you're done. You may or may not have what you were trying to have visible by panning that way. How is that better than knowing exactly what's visible before, during, and after panning?
You do know you aren't limited to screen coordinates when panning, you can drag the cursor as far off the screen as you want.

Re: Panning Addition
Also holding in [CTRL] will pan (by itself) in the opposite direction you move your mouse. So moving your mouse downwards will pan upwards. Anyone know if there is a system vairable wherby I can change this. So when I perform this action and move my mouse downwards it pans by itself downwards.
