    Default OLE question

    Using 2018 autocad and I have an embedded OLE in my file that I cant bind. Its active X and I cant link the file into my revit file. Any ideas?

    That's the nature of OLE. You can't bind it like an xref. If you embedded it in your file, its already inside your file. If it was linked, then you could choose to embed it.

    Thats fine and dandy but REVIT doesn't recognize OLE so it wont appear when linked.

    Well, OLE often doesn't work. Exactly "what" are you using it for? Table? Text document? picture?

    Once you tell us that, we can probably offer some alternatives that will work better than OLE.
