Default Revit group with stray objects

I have a group with stray objects (far away from the group), I can see them some 3000 meters away (above) from their correct location, but when I enter into Edit Group mode they are completely gone, also tried isolating the group and ungrouping to re group, but I can't find these objects at all, It all happened after editing the group when I received a warning that these objects were duplicate, but I didn't duplicate them or copy them in any way, I edited the group elsewhere, I would rather not restore an old version of the group because I have spent a long time editing.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks.

I had a similar issue happen. Turned out the family wasn't very happy. Fixed the family and the issued fixed itself.
Are any of the objects hosted to anything?
