    Default contours

I have imported a dem file and created contours lines in map3d. is there a way to export those contour lines with elevation to be used in a cad dwg?

    Select the Surface Object.
On the Contextual Surface Tab, in the "Surface Tools" panel, select "Extract from Surface > Extract Objects"
Select the appropriate objects to extract.
    Done.

I don't have a civil 3d surface. i connected to a dem file and create a surface layer in map 3d. these contours always look smoother than the ones in civil 3d from the same dem file.

so i'm trying to see if i can export them as some type of file that can then be imported into civil 3d.
