Default Drawing Coordinates causing screen to ‘jump’

Anyone know if there is a way to expand the Drawing Coordinates area? When I am using C3D (2016 – but I’ve noticed it in other versions of ACAD) that certain coordinate locations seem to ‘abbreviate’ the last couple of digits of the “Z” value in the readout – then, after a pause, it will expand to the full read out - this has the habit of causing my drawing window to ‘jump up’ and place a ‘blank line’ in that area. Not only does it jump the toolbar, it causes my drawing window to jump as well. It’s super annoying, and can cause me to miss my grips. It’s more pronounced when I have my ACAD session “docked” to my screen – if I have it undocked and manually expanded, it doesn’t do it as much, but it’s still often enough to bother me.
Is there a fix for this?

Not really a "fix", but one or more workarounds can be found here:

I think this is what you are talking about, right?

yep - that's it. I'll check those setting solutions as well.

    Thanks!

The explanation they give on this does not make sense.
If the code is designed to wrap the status bar at "XXX" pixels, why is it in a loop?
If "XXX" is say "1080", the status bar is either 1079 pixels, or 1080 pixels, it's not 1079 and a half.
There is no reason for the code to loop and make the status bar do this.
