Default Logo within a Title block stays the same

Looked around and saw something about BATTMAN and SYNC but still having an issue.

I have about a dozen title blocks I use that are the same with the exception of being for different scales. Within each title block are attributes, along with our company logo.

When our company changed ownership a few years ago I went through and changed all the blocks to contain the new logo.

The problem is when I come across an older drawing that contains the title block with the original company logo, I delete it then copy a title block with the new logo from an existing drawing. When I paste it to the old drawing the old logo is still there. I could just copy the contents of the old drawing to a new title block but just wondering why the old one is being retained. Any ideas?

    Thanks

After you delete the old title block you still need to purge it from the drawing. Run PURGE, locate the title block or the piece of the title block in the block section and purge it from the drawing. Now when you insert the new title block it should insert as expected.

Purging is the right answer, but just an FYI: If you did need to retain the old block for some reason, you could RENAME the old block to a new name, and then insert the new one.
Since it's a new name, you'll get the new block definition and the old one will still exist with a new name you gave it.
