OK, I know I am rehashing a old topic that will never be resolved but, here is a different twist (I think).
Is there a way to put a place holder in a line/curve table to skip a number or series of numbers?
The only way I can think of is making a dummy line(s) off in space and labeling them the number sequence you want a place holder for then, in paper space applying a mtext with background mask and adding your custom text. I have done this before (see attached) but, looking for a more efficient or elegant way of doing this.
Manual renumbering the remaining 102 lines is not an option for cost/time/human error purposes and, manager want all lines accounted for (no break in sequence).
** explanation of line work in table **
Its a simple array for text spacing on a no plot layer. This should be self explanatory but, someone will ask.
Thanks for everyone's time.
