    Default Hatch Problems

    Hi All
Thanks in advance for any help you can give

I have tried to create a simple hatch pattern to represent std Australian bricks 230X110X76 or 240X120X86 format.
The pattern is simple enough but I must have missed something as I am getting delta y off set when my delta y is set to zero.
I have attached a screen shot of the pattern and the .pat file use to generate it.brick hatch pattern.png
Each vertical line is off set by 2mm increasing with each copy of the pattern and I can not see why.
I'm sure its just me, and the answer will be simple
    Any help gratefully received.

    Hi Hugh
Thanks for that I have copied the files you sent into my library.
I found the issue with my .pat file as I had the delta x and y wrong as my understanding of the process was flawed.

One question if you can help?

I have deleted the incorrect .pat file I created in the PAT folder but it still appears in the hatch drop down in the work space, How do I get rid of it from there?

I am assuming that you have loaded the errant file to Revit. Revit copies PAT file content to a project on loading and keeps no link to its source.

You can delete unwanted fill patterns from a project with the Revit Fill Manager or with the HatchKit Add-In for Revit.

From the screen capture, it looks like he is using acad.

John, first make sure that no entities are using the linetype. Then run the PURGE command.
