    Default SUB-ASSEMBLY MISSING

was watching an instructional video about creating a split curb assembly where you create the outer curbs first and work toward the crown.

he used a link offset and slope to position the back of curb, no problem. but then he used a lanetowardcrown subassembly, my problem
is that subassembly does not show up in the tool palette. if i pick something and right click and go to help, i can find that sub-assembly in the help list.
but it's not on the tool palette as an option.

anyone know how i can locate this and/or reinstall it. it seemed like a pretty simple workflow to create independent right, left and center profiles.

    Dear Friend,
The video you have watched is related to Civil 3D 2010. In Civil 3D 2012 onwards they have introduced Lane superelevation AOR subassembly to cater the requirements of lane towards crown which was used prior to 2012 version. So I think you should try it with lane superelevation AOR subassembly.
The following article which I referred explains it pretty well.

I couldn't locate a subassembly with that name but a search in Help came up with a listing for it and said that the LaneSuperelevationAOR has the same functionality.

Just FYI, if you are on subscription and in C3D 2018 you can access more subassemblies through the "AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 Update 2" subscription tools in the toolbox. They have several more subassemblies from some DOTs' that use Civil 3D.
