Default RVT crashes on Win10 devices but not Win7

OK, this is weird one. One of our plumbing designers who has created a shared central file and it is based on plumbing design (Yes the template was our standard; and has been used for almost two years without issue). Every time I try to open the file in a up to date, patched Win10 device (Dell 3620, 64GBg memory, i7-7700K CPU 4 core, 4.20GHz 4.20 GHz, 64bit OS. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060GB Video card (Yes this happens on multiple matching devices). No warning; nada; program just closes. Now when I go to open this file on a older Win7 device (five year old z400 HP, 64 bit OS; up to date and patched it opens fine. Yes I can do this on multiple z400 devices. Let me reiterate I am using Revit 2017 on this project.

Any idea's on this would be appreciated; really don't want the designer to have to remote into a old device just to do his work and be able to plot.

    Regards,

    Gregory

Go to the Dell site to run any workstation updates. Also consider updating the video driver to the latest one.
