    Default Detail Component Manager

    RE: CISC Wide Flange Shapes

Is there any way I can change the insertion point for plan and elevation to the center of the object rather than the edge?

Also is there any way I can change the section to a polyline with hatch rather than the (I think its stupid) block! Or at least have the block name be "W460x128" for example rather than "*U"

Also how do I change the scale of the hatch pattern?

Also are most of the D.C.M. objects going to be superceded by "Dynamic Blocks"?

    Thanks
    Phill

    Cool Re: Detail Component Manager

Of course I meant "default" to the center.....

And with respect to the hatch pattern; I know it is determined by the value of sys var "MEASUREMENT" but setting the units in "_AecDwgSetup" does not effect the value of sys var "MEASUREMENT" so the Detail Component Manager doesn't know of you've changed from metric to imperial or vice versa?

    Default Re: Detail Component Manager

You know, you're asking for a lot from autodesk here.
If you have noticed the out of the box beam style that you get don't have corret hatch patterns either. In the sturctural member catalog you can select a "Concrete beam" that will display like brick in section.
