Default Pulling GPS Coordinates from 'Drawing Coordinates' in Status Bar

    Hi there,

I'm looking to write a script to pull the current cursor positions GPS coordinates, write them to a KML file, and then execute the file to have it open in Google Earth.

I figure I can write most of what I want to do, but I don't know how to fetch the 'Drawing Coordinates' information from the Status Bar, or from whatever variable it is stored in. Does anyone know how I can access that info?

    Thanks!

Have you tried the getpoint function?

The crude way "ID" pick a point, press F2 and copy from the command line x=1234.567 y=6789.456
    Open notepad and paste
    Edit to 1234.567,6789.456
    Copy and paste to Google

If you're interested, for about an hour of billable time, you could get this capability and a lot more here: http://dotsoft.com/geolocplus.htm
