Failure to Save As, Failure to Export to ACAD 2006 .dwg or .dxf

Hello,

I am returning to AutoCAD 2019 after a decade of absence to help with some design work for a family member. I am having a number of problems, many of which have been resolved through documentation and videos. I am currently having a couple issues that are show stoppers.

I am trying to share my drawings with the project SE in ACAD 2006 and or PDF format.

1. The application will not allow me to save the drawing in a ACAD 2006 format complaining of a version conflict and with no way to resolve the issue. See attached system message.

2. The application will not display on the printout or in the Viewport the complete drawing, some items are not shown. Please see attach example drawing.

I will appreciate any help I can get with this issue. I have already filed a support issue with AutoDesk.

These issues are due to my lack of familiarity, I am sure. A lot has changed.

You can save the drawing all the way back to an r12 drawing if you like, but when you save a drawing to an older format it cannot include features that didn't exist in the older format or because that old version would have no way of being able to read it. Why not just save the drawing with one of the other options?

1. AECTOACAD command to "explode" all those non-convertible items in your file to R2004 format for your R2006 user. It's been around for quite some time.
2. your PLOT parameters are what? They look to be the problem based on the info you provided.
