    Default SURFACE LABEL STYLE

I created a surface label style to show the surface elevation and to show an elevation 6" higher (curb height).

when it's in normal mode (annotated) is displays as created. proposed on top, existing on bottom.

however, when in the dragged state mode, it reverses the order. how can i fix this.

Are they separate components in the label style?

If so, in the label style composer, under Dragged State, you can change the "Display" to "As Composed" instead of stacked.

Or just put both strings in one component.

It sounds like your label style is made with two text components and a drag mode of 'stacked text'. The order of the text stacking will be the order in which the text components were created. Edit the style, delete the component you want on the bottom and recreate it.

Another option that may work would be to set the drag mode to 'as composed'. This will keep the order in which one component is anchored to another in the style but will effect the behavior of the leader line attachment and text justification.

Another option, make it with one text component with a line shift to stack the elevations.

thanks for the help gentlemen. I changed the setting in the dragged state mode to "as composed" and it worked. when i have more time I may try the other methods

edit: well it worked if i dragged the label to the right, but if i drag it to the left, the text is on the wrong side of the leader

edit #2: changed the style to have both codes in a single component and voila!!! that solved the problem.
