    Question Line Weight control for slab deck joined with ceiling element?

    Hi all,

    Is there a way to control the line weight of structural decks in floor assemblies? I would like to join my slab and ceiling / plenum to appear as one cut element in sections.

    Would it be best to extend the ceiling higher element to the top of deck and then join them?

    Image below shows the condition:
