Cursor Negative Badge

Hello Friends,

I have a little annoyance with the cursor, see attached. As soon as I add a point into Autocad Civil 3D, I get a negative badge at the bottom right corner of my cursor. I would like to turn it off and know why does it show up? I have already tried turning off the badges but it didn't work???
