Default Copy a sheet to a new project

I created a sheet in Revit 2019 that is completely text.
I want to have this sheet and all of it's text in my project template.
What's the easiest way to do this?
I started by selecting the sheet, right clicking, and choosing "Save to New File"
That was a mistake. When I pasted it into my project template, that became my new project template. Just that sheet.
So how can I just bring that sheet and it's contents into another project or template?
    Thank You

I don't know for sure that you can "copy" a sheet, I don't think so.

But wouldn't it be simple enough to create the new sheet in your template and simply copy and paste the text (from the project) onto it?
You mentioned it was just text on the sheet, the text also could be made into a legend and that could be transferred into the template I believe (which then could be put on a sheet in your template).

You can use the insert from File and select the sheet assuming it's all drafting views. I think legends can be there as well. Just no model based views.

If it's a Legend, the pyRevit Add-In has a way to copy from one project to another.

That's good to know.. I didn't know that.
That answers the OP's question too I believe.

I did mention you can grab a legend from a project, I didn't know you could grab a sheet.

As long as it's all drafting views you can grab the sheet.
We've changed up a bunch of our standard Legends to be Detail Groups. Detail groups are easier to copy and paste aligned to selected views. Can't do that using OOTB commands with Legends.
The other thing we've done is to use a Detail Component and a Note Block to generate an actual schedule, which i think you can also copy from one project to another.
