Recently Used Files

Hi all. I am using AutoCAD LT 2018 in a Windows 10 Pro operating system. Recently, my list of recently used files has disappeared from my Start Menu. Nothing has changed under <Options-Open and Save> where the number of recently used files is "9" in both the "Files Open" and "Application Menu" boxes. I checked the registry (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD LT\R24\ACADLT-1001:409\Recent File List), and there are fifty files there, along with a corresponding number of "FileTime" and "Class". I haven't deleted the "Recent File List" key and see if it rebuilds correctly, as I don't really feel like shooting myself in the foot just yet.

Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

When you said "start menu", do you actually mean the "start tab" that appears when you fire up AutoCAD LT ?

I mean when I hit the "A" to bring up the start menu in AutoCAD and...$*)(*(^&Y&*^T (id est expletive deleted)...at the top of the listing of "New, "Open", "Save", etc., I had the icon for open documents highlighted, instead of the icon for recent documents. Isn't it always the little things that bite us in the butt? I would apologize for wasting your time, but if you reply didn't cause me to take a very detailed look at this, I probably would have wasted a lot more of it...that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Ah, the big "A" and it's menu are called the Application Menu.
