Default Disappearing object found as type "other"

While printing duct routing concepts, a few sections of my duct disappeared. After running thru a few of the standard "33 reasons why you can't see something in Revit" checklist items, I opened an archive to look for them. They exist as ducts there so i note the ID mark number, open the current model, and search by ID. The object with ID number exists, but as type "other" and cannot be Shown.

I can / will copy all of the instances back in, as the model is not very large, but does anyone have a solution to this disappearing act?

Sounds like you have filters governing the appearance of elements, possible they are excluding this one so it can't be seen.
