Hello there. I am new with the program, and unfamiliar with working with parameters to define new familes. What would you recommend to get started with the topic?

Hi Carlos,

Start with the tutorials.

Then, open up a standard family, similar to the ones you want to start making and look closely at how they were made, particularly the constraints.

Golden Rule : Set up the reference planes first, before you make the geometry of the model.

And "flex" the family at each step, to make sure it works the way you intend.

It'll be like second nature in no time.
