Color number of bylayer
Summary: Show number of the color used for "ByLayer" when displaying in the properties palette.
Description: When a reddish-color object is selected its properties appear in the properties palette.
The object may have been assigned the color "ByLayer" which would show in the "Color" category.
However, the "Color" assigned to the "Layer" does not appear in the Properties Palette.
Since colors 1 and 10 look very similar one must go the the "Layer Properties" palette to find the number of the color used for the layer.
I would like to see the number of the "ByLayer" color shown in parentheses after "ByLayer". Example: "ByLayer (10)".
Microstation does this, and it increases production.

Re: Color number of bylayer
Almost nothing there isn't already a lisp function for in AutoCAD. Just another advantage AutoCAD has over Microstation.
