We have created a custom drafting standard that we have been using for years; basically based of ANSI, but bastardized to fit our needs and saved as a custom drafting standard.

We've just upgraded to AutoCAD Mechanical 2023, and I'm finding that when I open a drawing that has anything annotative in it, it pops an error about annotative scaling, and then overrides the drafting standard to the basic ANSI standard.

I have no idea why. I can't seem to find any answers why. Anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

I am aware there are issues with mechanical symbols and other items in the mechanical toolset that don't handle annotative scales well, but it shouldn't be changing our drafting standard because of that.

TIA!
