Wondered if someone else is having this problem. I'm plotting to the pdf writer and it is overlapping some of the text....help?
Thanks

I have had the same problem with certain fonts, but not with other fonts like Ariel. I don't think much of the PDF writer that comes with Revit.
Make you you have the PDF setting to outline true-type fonts under advanced settings. this seems to help sometimes.
barring that, use a dwf![]()

Hey Chris that worked...Thanks.
I would have dwf'd it but with this client, I'm accomplishing alot by having him open his own email and double clicking a pdf.
Thanks

We've had something similar happen, but there was no "outline" option for the True Type font -- just "substitute with device font" or "download as softfont." Check out the crazy door schedule. I guess we'll change the font to boring ol' Arial: at least it'll be readable.![]()

Dean,
re PDF font probs:
Look at the screenshot carefully. You are trying to change the wrong setting. You need to open the branch that is further down from Subsitute Device Font.
I was wondering why my hidden objects are printing in the pdf. You can't see them on the sheet butprint preview they appear?
