This is for release 2006. I successfully imported my custom menu, but can't see how I can move it to a different position. In this case i want it to be the first menu.
Thanks

I got the answer.
Open the cui interface (type "cui" at command line).
Expand the workspaces in the upper left quadrant of the cui window. Select the workspace desired. Then in the upper right quadrant, Workspace Contents, expand and find the menu you want to move. Drag it into the desired position. Click the Apply button.
This works, but be careful......not sure exactly why, but after using the workspace to move the menu location, I had to reset all my toolbars and docked floating windows.
First , be sure to save your current workspace to avoid all the toolbars moving back to their default positions.
If the workspace toolbar is not on-screen, you can bring up the option to save your current workspace by typing "Workspace" at the command prompt. Took a bit of head scratching to understand the new interface,, now my workspace stays like I want without having to lock the toolbars
Also, when you do the workspace expansion, click the "Customize workspace" radio button. then all the workspace contents nametags will turn to blue text.
At that point, you can use checkboxes in the left pane for all customization files, can arrange all the menus, etc.

This is all so very intuitive.........I was messing around with customizations and I happened to find the workspace toolbar. Not sure if the save feature is located anywhere else than the toolbar.
