Legend Flip Controls??

The door family I created is flipped in the project via it's blue controls. Now when it comes to placing it in as a legend component I can't flip it. Its orientation is as the families.Ie flip hands. Once the family is edited it disappears from the legend after reloading. Mirror doesn't work either. aargghhh

I having the same problem...Can you share your solution? And It cannot be TAG...!!

Hi,

I have had similar problems with window (eg.) instances for say RH sashes then LH sashes - flipped in plan views but not able to do so in Legends.
I was advised that as of Revit 8.1, this is a limitation inside Revit.
I was advised also that the factory are well aware of it and will get to it. I am sure they will, but will be most happy when this small but very annoying flaw is corrected.
In meantime, I have been going back to Family Editor to make the additional types - time consuming when a lot of projects are one off for windows particularly, but does get the necessary graphic correct for W&D graphic schedules.

Try do a legend of a corner window...aaaargh indeed. "Drafting Lines" was my solution
