Unhandled Exception when attempting to access drawing Standards in ACAD 2002

I'm getting and Unhandled Exception when I try to use drawing Standards in ACAD 2002.

This happens both when I use the command icon and when I enter the STANDARDS command from the command line.

The error message reads as follows;

Exception in C:\Program Files\AitoCAD 2002\AcStd.arx
Unhandled Exception C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0xfffffff) at address 63B61731h

My guess was that this file was corrupt, so I copied and pasted it from a co-worker's computer and still got the same error, although the standards command was working on the other system.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

You can always try a repair installation from the CD, also check to make sure that all of your drivers (esp. your Video and Network Device (if you are one a network) drivers) are up to date.
